ECT3000 Short/Open Electrical Circuit Tester Kit

The Power Probe ECT3000 Electrical Circuit Tester is designed to quickly locate shorts, open circuits, wire breaks, intermittent faults and excessive battery drains in automotive and other DC electrical systems. The intelligent transmitter connects to an isolated circuit and determines whether an open or short condition is present, while the intelligent receiver follows the transmitted signal through the vehicle wiring to help identify the direction and location of the fault. Adjustable sensitivity helps technicians trace circuits without unnecessarily removing interior panels, molding or carpet. The ECT3000 can also trace wires, locate switches and breaks, test intermittent conditions and assist with continuity testing when used with a Power Probe III, IV or Hook. Designed for 6V to 48V DC systems, the kit is suitable for cars, boats, RVs, light-duty and heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
